In the logistics loading and unloading process of feed, grain, and other industries, bagged goods in the 25 kg specification, because of their moderate weight and frequent handling, place high demands on loading and unloading efficiency. The customer needed a mechanized solution for a 9.6 m truck that could both load quickly and unload flexibly, replacing traditional purely manual work and reducing workers' labor intensity. By configuring a Medium Hydraulic Conveyor with a rubber-covered Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor, Naili Conveyor successfully met this need.
Core Equipment Configuration of the Solution
The core of this case lies in Medium Hydraulic Conveyor and rubber-covered Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor working together. Incline Conveyor is responsible for solving the height difference between the warehouse dock and the bottom of the truck compartment, while the roller line is responsible for smoothly conveying the goods to the designated position inside the compartment.

The Medium Hydraulic Conveyor plays the role of a "bridge" in this solution. Its hydraulic lifting system can flexibly adjust the height, perfectly matching the changes in the truck bed height under different load conditions for a 9.6 m truck. After the operator raises the Incline Conveyor platform to be level with the truck bed, the roller conveyor mounted on it can be smoothly extended into the truck compartment, forming a continuous conveying channel from the warehouse to the inside of the truck bed.

For this solution, we selected a 10 m-long rubber-covered Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor. The main reason for choosing rubber-covered rollers is that the surface material of 25 kg bagged feed, usually woven bags, provides sufficient friction against the rubber, ensuring that the cargo does not slip or deviate during conveying. The multi-wedge belt drive runs smoothly and quietly, making it ideal for bagged cargo handling. A 10 m length is enough to cover the bed depth of most 9.6 m trucks, ensuring that the cargo can be conveyed directly to the front end of the compartment and reducing the manual handling distance inside the truck.
Detailed Loading and Unloading Process
Loading Process
- Preparation Stage: The truck reverses to the warehouse dock and stops. The operator pushes the Medium Hydraulic Conveyor to the rear of the truck compartment and starts the hydraulic system to raise the platform until it is level with the truck bed.
- Docking Stage: Mount the 10 m rubber-covered roller conveyor on the Incline Conveyor platform and slowly push it into the truck compartment.
- Conveying Stage: At the warehouse end, workers place the 25 kg bagged feed one bag at a time onto the start of the roller line. After powering on, the roller line uses its drive to convey the feed bags smoothly into the truck compartment.
- Stacking Stage: One or two workers are stationed inside the truck compartment to neatly stack the feed bags conveyed into the compartment according to the stacking rules.

Unloading Process
One major advantage of this solution is that the equipment can be reversed for easy switching to unloading mode. When cargo needs to be unloaded from the truck to the warehouse, simply reverse the running direction of the roller conveyor.
- Equipment Positioning: Use the Medium Hydraulic Conveyor again to build the conveying channel from the truck compartment to the dock.
- Reverse Conveying: Workers inside the truck compartment place the feed bags onto the roller line, and the equipment runs in reverse to convey the cargo to the warehouse dock.
- Follow-up Handling: Workers at the dock or a forklift transfer the cargo to the warehouse storage area.
This bidirectional conveying capability greatly improves equipment utilization and operational flexibility, achieving a "one machine, two uses" result. Solution Advantages and Application Scenarios
- High Efficiency and Labor Saving: Mechanized conveying replaces manual carrying, significantly increasing the loading and unloading speed of 25 kg bagged feed and reducing workers' labor intensity.
- Flexible and Versatile: The loading and unloading functions can be switched quickly to meet the needs of round-trip logistics operations.
- Strong Adaptability: The Medium Hydraulic Conveyor has adjustable height and can adapt to different vehicle types and load conditions; the rubber-covered rollers provide excellent gripping force for bagged goods.
- Safe and Stable: The powered conveying is smooth, reducing the risk of cargo drop damage while also ensuring the safety of operators.
This solution is not only suitable for the feed industry, but also for loading and unloading scenarios involving fertilizer, grain, chemical raw materials, and all other goods packaged in bags of around 25 kg.
