Express Distribution Center Loading Case

Scenario and requirements

The site is a large express distribution center. After sorting, the parcels exit via a belt conveyor and need to go straight into the loading stage, forming a continuous conveyance from sorting to loading.

The targeted loading vehicle is a 9.6-meter truck, aiming to deliver goods from the sorting output directly into the trailer, minimizing intermediate transfers.

A key constraint on site is the absence of a loading/unloading platform. There is a height difference between the loading mouth and the trailer, so elevating the equipment is necessary to complete the connection.

How the solution connects (from the belt conveyor to the trailer)

The chain follows: belt conveyor discharge → multi-wedge belt powered rubber roller conveyor receiving and transitioning → 4-section telescopic conveyor docking and extending into the trailer.

The multi-wedge belt powered rubber roller conveyor is positioned behind the belt conveyor discharge to receive the outgoing parcels and deliver them steadily into the next equipment inlet, serving as the intermediate transition from the belt conveyor to the telescopic conveyor.

The 4-section telescopic conveyor is arranged at the loading mouth, docking with the roller conveyor at its inlet and extending into the truck at the discharge end to convey goods into the trailer. At the same time, the telescopic conveyor raises its height to adapt to the lack of a loading/unloading platform, achieving direct connection with the 9.6-meter truck.

Operation process and manual coordination

Upstream work begins with sorting output: parcels leave the sorting line through the belt conveyor and enter the multi-wedge belt powered rubber roller conveyor.

The middle section transition is handled by the roller conveyor: parcels move from the roller conveyor outlet into the 4-section telescopic conveyor inlet, maintaining an uninterrupted flow.

Inside the truck, the telescopic conveyor delivers the goods: once extended into the truck, it pushes parcels directly into the trailer; the loading still requires manual workers inside to receive, place, and organize cargo to complete the loading operation.

Changes after usage (focused on on-site chain adjustments)

The loading chain has been extended from merely reaching the loading mouth to arriving directly inside the trailer. The roller conveyor and 4-section telescopic conveyor now chain between the belt conveyor and the truck, reducing intermediate breaks.

Without a loading/unloading platform, the telescopic conveyor lifts and extends into the trailer to achieve direct connection with the 9.6-meter truck. The loading operation runs along the main line of "continuous equipment conveyance + manual coordination at critical points.".
