Boxed Water Unloading into Warehouse: Gravity Skate Wheel Conveyor

After a 9.6 m truck is parked, boxed water needs to be moved from the truck body into the warehouse, with a back-and-forth distance of more than 10 m in between. A Gravity Skate Wheel Conveyor is used to connect the truck body and the warehouse entrance. Once placed on it, the boxed water slides by gravity. One person loads in the truck, and one person receives and stacks at the warehouse end, eliminating repeated walking during handling.

Unloading scenario and handling requirements

After the 9.6-meter truck docks, crate water must be moved from the trailer into the warehouse piece by piece. There is more than 10 meters between the truck exit and the warehouse storage area, so workers must walk back and forth for each item, exhausting their energy and slowing the unloading rhythm.

How the gravity skate wheel conveyor connects the truck and warehouse

Extend the gravity skate wheel conveyor from the trailer into the warehouse entrance to form a connected transfer channel. Once the crate water is placed on the conveyor, it slides by gravity without requiring workers to walk the 10-plus meters back and forth. The previous carry route is replaced by the conveyor path, and the workflow becomes fixed at both ends.

Two-person coordinated workflow

Two workers complete the operation: one stands in the trailer placing crate water onto the conveyor one piece at a time, while the other receives and stacks the cargo at the warehouse end. The roles are clearly defined, progressing in sync, with goods sliding continuously without backlog.

After introducing the conveyor, the back-and-forth 10-meter walk is eliminated. The two workers focus their energy on loading onto the conveyor and stacking the received goods, instead of splitting effort with walking.
