In the finished-goods loading process at bottled water production companies, there are often two major challenges: first, there is a height difference between the truck bed floor and the ground, so palletized bottled water needs to be lifted into the truck bed; second, the interior space of the truck bed is long, so the goods need to be conveyed smoothly to the depth of the truck. For bottled water packaged with heat-shrink film, the palletized goods have a smooth surface and strong integrity, but they are heavy to handle. This case shows an efficient solution: using a heavy-duty ramp conveyor and a 10 m Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor to work together and complete a continuous loading process from the warehouse platform to a large truck.
Core Equipment Configuration of the Solution
The core of this solution lies in the seamless connection of two types of equipment. The heavy-duty ramp conveyor is responsible for overcoming the vertical height difference and smoothly lifting the goods from the ground to the height of the truck bed floor; the Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor is responsible for long-distance horizontal conveying inside the truck bed, delivering the goods to the designated position.
The Key Role of the Heavy-Duty Ramp Machine

In this solution, the heavy-duty ramp machine plays the role of a "bridge." Its sturdy steel structural frame and stable hydraulic lifting system can تحمل? no, must be English. Its sturdy steel structural frame and stable hydraulic lifting system can bear the weight of bottled water pallets (usually over 1 ton) and achieve a smooth transition from the ground to the truck bed (typically 1.2 m to 1.5 m high). The operator only needs to place the pallet forklift loaded with bottled water at the inlet end of the ramp machine. After the equipment is started, the goods automatically move upward along the inclined conveying surface until they connect with the roller conveyor inside the truck.

The conveying task inside the truck is handled by a 10 m-long section of Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor. The multi-wedge belt drive runs smoothly and quietly, making it ideal for use in relatively enclosed truck compartments. Its power is sufficient to move fully loaded bottled water pallets inside the truck. A 10 m length is enough to cover the depth of most truck bodies, ensuring the goods can be conveyed directly to the very end and greatly reducing the distance and number of times pallets need to be moved manually inside the compartment.
Detailed Loading and Unloading Process
Stage 1: Equipment Positioning and Connection
Before loading, first move the heavy-duty ramp machine to the rear of the truck and adjust its incline so that the discharge end is level with the truck bed and tightly connected. Then push the 10 m-long Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor from the discharge end of the ramp machine into the truck compartment and spread it out, ensuring the entire conveyor line extends from the ramp machine outlet all the way to the front of the compartment.
Stage 2: Continuous Loading Operation
The operator uses a forklift to place bottled water pallets wrapped and secured with heat-shrink film onto the inlet end of the heavy-duty ramp machine. After the equipment is started, the pallets are automatically lifted and transferred onto the roller conveyor inside the truck. The roller conveyor runs continuously, conveying the pallets smoothly toward the interior of the compartment. After the previous pallet reaches the designated position, subsequent pallets can be fed in continuously, forming an assembly-line operation. This mode is similar to our other Bagged Goods Ramp Loading Solution and achieves the same result, both using a ramp machine to solve the vertical lifting problem.
Stage 3: Goods Stacking Inside the Truck
Once the pallets are conveyed to the front of the compartment, workers inside the truck assist with final positioning and stacking. Since the roller conveyor has already completed most of the handling work, manual labor only needs minor adjustment, greatly reducing physical strain. After one section is filled, the power to that section of the roller conveyor can be turned off and it can be retracted backward by a certain distance to continue loading the next row of goods until the entire truck is loaded.
Solution Benefits and Applicable Scenarios
This solution is especially suitable for logistics scenarios involving bottled water, beverages, and other fast-moving consumer goods with large volumes and frequent loading and unloading. The heat-shrink film packaging ensures pallet stability, making it less likely for goods to fall apart during inclined lifting and horizontal conveying. Compared with relying entirely on forklifts for direct loading, this solution offers the following obvious advantages:
- Improved Efficiency: Enables semi-automated continuous conveying from the platform to the inside of the truck, resulting in faster loading speed.
- Reduced Labor: Greatly reduces the heavy manual labor of forklifts repeatedly moving back and forth inside the truck and workers pushing and pulling pallets by hand inside the compartment.
- High Safety: Avoids the risks that may come with forklifts entering and exiting the truck compartment, and keeps goods conveying smooth and controllable.
- Good Flexibility: Both the heavy-duty ramp machine and the roller conveyor are mobile equipment, allowing flexible position adjustments according to different vehicle models.
This combination of a heavy-duty ramp machine and a long-distance powered roller line is also commonly used in other scenarios that require handling heavy loads and large height differences during loading and unloading, such as in Application of a Heavy-Duty Ramp Machine Configured with 9 Sections of Covered Roller Conveyor for Large Truck Loading and Unloading we also provide a similar solution for heavier bagged materials.

In short, through the combined application of a heavy-duty ramp machine and a Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor, a highly efficient, labor-saving, and safe assembly line is provided for the loading of heat-shrink-wrapped bottled water, representing an effective practice for improving competitiveness in modern logistics loading and unloading operations.
