Laundry detergent warehouse loading conveyor solution

For a laundry detergent warehouse truck-loading scenario, a combined solution of a 20 m floor-level rubber roller conveyor, a Medium Hydraulic Conveyor, and a 10 m rubber roller conveyor inside the truck body achieves continuous and efficient conveying from the warehouse to a 40-foot container truck, significantly improving loading efficiency and reducing worker labor intensity.

In warehouse loading operations for bagged powder products such as laundry detergent, traditional manual handling or segmented conveying is not only inefficient, but also labor-intensive for workers, and the goods are prone to damage during transfer. To address this issue, we designed and implemented a continuous conveying solution for a laundry detergent warehouse that runs directly from the inside of the warehouse to a 40-foot container truck. Through a combination of a ground fixed section, an incline transition section, and an in-truck extension section, the solution enables smooth and efficient loading of bagged laundry detergent, effectively improving operational efficiency and the working environment.

Solution Configuration and Equipment Selection

The core of this solution lies in the seamless connection of the three-section conveyor line. Based on the distance from the warehouse shipping outlet to the truck parking position and the depth of the 40-foot container truck bed, we selected the following equipment combination:

  • Ground Fixed Section: A Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor. This conveyor section starts from the palletizing or temporary storage area inside the warehouse and extends all the way to the edge of the loading platform. The rubber-covered rollers provide sufficient friction to convey bagged laundry detergent stably and prevent slipping, while the flexible surface also protects the packaging bags.
  • Incline Transition Section: An Medium Hydraulic Conveyor. Its function is to bridge the height difference between the ground and the bottom of the truck bed. This equipment can be hydraulically raised and lowered, and the belt surface has anti-slip patterns to ensure that bagged goods will not slide or tip over during the incline process. Its stable load capacity and adjustable speed make it a key bridge connecting the two horizontal conveyor lines.
  • In-Truck Extension Section: A Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor. This conveyor is designed to be mobile and is pushed into the truck before loading. Its compact structure and powered design can continuously transport goods from the rear of the truck bed to the front, allowing workers to simply stack the goods inside the truck without the need for long-distance manual carrying.

Workflow and Efficiency Improvement

In actual operation, the loading process became highly smooth. Workers in the warehouse place the bagged laundry detergent onto the 20-meter rubber-covered roller line on the ground, and the goods are automatically conveyed by the powered system to the edge of the loading platform. Next, the goods transition smoothly onto the Medium Hydraulic Conveyor, which has already been adjusted to the proper angle, and are lifted to the same height as the truck bed floor. Finally, the goods enter the 10-meter multi-wedge belt roller line inside the truck and are conveyed further into the depth of the truck bed.

This combined solution transforms the repetitive labor that previously required multiple people carrying goods by hand into a collaborative operation centered on equipment conveying with manual stacking support. According to customer feedback, loading efficiency increased by about 60%, while greatly reducing workers’ physical exertion and the risk of goods falling. This continuous warehouse-to-truck conveying model is especially suitable for warehouses handling bagged products with high daily shipment volumes.

Solution Advantages and Applicability

The successful implementation of this solution highlights the value of customized combined conveying equipment in solving specific loading and unloading challenges. Its advantages are mainly reflected in:

  1. Continuity: It eliminates multiple manual transfers during the loading process, enabling one-stop conveying from the warehouse to the inside of the truck bed.
  2. High Efficiency: The equipment runs at a constant speed, keeping loading speed stable and controllable, and greatly shortening the time vehicles stay at the factory.
  3. Labor-Saving: Workers only need to handle loading the goods and the final palletizing; the long-distance transport and incline sections in between are all completed by the equipment, significantly reducing labor intensity.
  4. Flexibility: The height of the Medium Hydraulic Conveyor is adjustable, allowing it to adapt to different truck bed heights; the roller line inside the truck compartment is movable, making it easy to deploy between different loading bays.
