Situation and Requirements
In a disposable meal container warehouse receiving area, incoming vehicles include 9.6m trucks. The core goal is to have goods enter the receiving zone directly during unloading to minimize intermediate transfers.
This article only discusses the connection method for unloading into storage and does not cover other in-warehouse operations.

How the solution connects
The equipment used on-site is a skate wheel conveyor, serving as the connecting channel between the truck compartment and the warehouse receiving dock.
After the vehicle is in place, the skate wheel conveyor is aligned with the truck unloading end and forms a continuous path to the warehouse receiving dock, allowing goods to flow directly into the storage area along the channel.
This solution focuses on direct unloading into the warehouse without introducing additional handling equipment.

Operation Flow and Manual Coordination
- Once the vehicle is positioned, the skate wheel conveyor is connected to the unloading spot and adjusted to an operational state.
- At the truck end, workers place goods onto the skate wheel conveyor, which transports them along the direction of the conveyor into the warehouse receiving area.
- At the receiving end, personnel handle receiving, organizing, and tidying the goods according to the warehouse's existing receiving procedures.
Changes After Implementation
The unloading path narrows from "truck—transfer—storage" to "truck—skate wheel conveyor—storage.".
On-site focus shifts toward connection stability, channel smoothness, and coordination with the receiving operations to ensure goods smoothly continue with subsequent receiving handling once inside the warehouse.
