Scene and requirements
The goods in this operation are boxed fireworks transported to the warehouse by a 7.6-meter truck. During unloading, the path between the truck dock and the warehouse entrance turns, so straight-line manual handling is impossible and the round trip is quite long. The site needed a solution that could follow the curved path and convey continuously while preventing goods from slipping during the turn.
How the gravity skate wheel conveyor integrates into the unloading line
The site deployed a gravity skate wheel conveyor that starts at the truck cargo compartment and extends along the unloading path all the way to the warehouse entrance, creating a continuous conveying channel. The equipment structure supports arbitrary extension and bending, so the turn is handled by adjusting the conveyor’s shape without adding extra transfer nodes or manual handovers.
The gravity skate wheel conveyor is powered by gravity without additional drive; goods slide naturally along the slope, and the curved section works with the same principle.

Unloading process and manpower coordination
During operations, staff at the trailer end push each box of fireworks onto the conveyor’s starting section, after which the goods slide along the conveyor, naturally turning through the curved segment and continuing toward the warehouse. Personnel at the warehouse end receive and stack the incoming goods, forming a complete unloading chain through coordination.
Actual unloading results
The boxed fireworks remained stable throughout the curved conveying section without slipping. The goods smoothly reached the warehouse, validating the continuous conveying from the truck to the inbound area.
