Warehouse Loading and Unloading Case

In the warehouse center, loading and unloading operations use a Medium Hydraulic Conveyor and a Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor to directly connect the roller line inside the truck compartment with the roller line on the warehouse floor. On-site, it accommodates 7.6 m trucks and 9.6 m trucks, while workers mainly handle alignment confirmation, start/stop control, and forward/reverse rotation control.

Scene and requirements

The project site is a warehouse center with the objective of completing both loading and unloading while creating a direct connection between trailers and the warehouse side to reduce intermediate transfers.

The vehicle lineup includes 7.6-meter and 9.6-meter trucks, covering the full range of trailers on site.

On-site equipment consists of a medium ramp conveyor and a multi-wedge belt powered roller conveyor; roller conveyors are installed both inside the trailer and on the warehouse floor to connect with the inclined section, forming a continuous path between the trailer side and the warehouse side.

How the solution connects the trailer, inclined section, and warehouse floor

The medium ramp conveyor serves as the transition between the trailer height and the warehouse floor conveyor, bridging the height and position so the trailer opening can align with the floor roller line.

In terms of connection, the trailer roller conveyor and the warehouse floor roller conveyor are continuously linked via the inclined conveyor, allowing the flow of goods during loading and unloading to run consistently along the same line, reducing repeated transfers between the trailer opening and the floor.

The multi-wedge belt powered roller conveyor receives and transports the goods, forming a seamless path from the trailer to the warehouse.

Work process and manpower coordination

The loading process is organized as "warehouse side → transition segment → trailer side": goods enter the floor roller conveyor on the warehouse side → connect through the medium ramp conveyor → enter the trailer roller conveyor to complete loading.

The unloading process reverses the same path: goods exit the trailer roller conveyor → connect through the medium ramp conveyor → drop onto the floor roller conveyor to flow into the warehouse side.

Manual coordination focuses on three key points:

  • Connection check: confirm that the trailer roller line, the inclined conveyor, and the floor roller line are properly aligned to ensure smooth handover.
  • Start/stop and forward/reverse control: operate the equipment start/stop and direction changes according to the goods flow during loading or unloading.
  • On-site safety confirmation: conduct safety checks before and after operations around the connection points between the inclined conveyor and roller lines to ensure the passage remains safe for continuous conveying.

Changes after implementation (revisiting the on-site goals)

After the solution was implemented, a direct channel formed between the trailer and warehouse, integrating loading and unloading steps into a continuous conveying path; the trailer roller line, the incline transition, and the warehouse floor roller line now operate along the same route for back-and-forth operations.

The work method shifted from "handling and transferring" to continuous "roller conveying + incline transition, " allowing loading and unloading to be organized along the same connection path, while personnel focus more on confirming connections, controls, and safety checks.

Express Warehouse Barcode Scanning Loading Case

At an express company's warehouse loading site, a Medium Hydraulic Conveyor and a Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor inside and outside the truck form a continuous conveying chain. A barcode scanning station is set on the conveyor line, so after scanning, the goods travel uninterrupted directly to the truck compartment; workers handle loading, sorting of abnormal items, and placement inside the truck compartment.
