Unloading Ceramic Basins with Gravity Rollers

A 7.6 m truck delivers boxed ceramic wash basins, which are transferred directly to the warehouse via 38 mm and 50 mm gravity rollers. Operators adjust the angle, secure the support legs, and guide the end section. The roller sections and lockable caster stands work together to maintain stability, making the unloading pace more consistent.

Scenario and requirements

A 7.6-meter truck drives into the site carrying boxed ceramic washbasins. The goal is to bypass intermediate handling steps and move the cartons directly from the truck compartment to the warehouse, using rollers to create a transition between the loading area and storage area and to stabilize the unloading rhythm.

How the solution connects

Based on the truck-compartment height and the warehouse passage, 38 mm gravity rollers are set up first, then connected to a 50 mm section to form a continuous conveying chain from the compartment to the storage area. The telescopic structure adapts to different gaps, the support legs are manually adjusted to match height differences, and the wheeled system with locking casters holds the overall position after positioning, making fine adjustment between the truck and the warehouse easier.

Operating workflow and manual coordination

Operators unfold the roller sections in sequence, adjust the angle, and lock the support legs so the 38 mm section and the 50 mm section maintain the same incline at the joint, ensuring cartons transition smoothly as they extend onto the next section. During unloading, cartons slide down the rollers by gravity; personnel at the end receive and organize them at the warehouse entrance while using the locking-caster support legs to keep the conveyor line stable.

Changes after use

The rollers take on the main role of gravity conveying, allowing workers to focus more on front-end unfolding and adjustment and on end guidance, concentrating handling steps at the two ends. The two roller specifications quickly match gaps between different trucks and the storage area, reducing repeated handling and keeping the site layout flexible for adjustments.

Medium Hydraulic Conveyor working with rubber-covered rollers for direct truck-to-warehouse transfer without a loading dock

At a site without a loading dock, the 9.6-meter truck bed is connected by a Medium Hydraulic Conveyor (Medium Hydraulic Conveyor) and a Multi-V Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor (Multi-V Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor). After manual height adjustment and alignment, two-meter-long bagged goods enter the warehouse smoothly along the rollers, eliminating swaying and transfers.

Unloading Ice Cream with a Multi-Wedge-Belt Powered Roller Conveyor

A fully loaded 7.6-meter truck carrying ice cream used a multi-wedge-belt powered roller conveyor (Powered Roller Conveyor) to move goods directly from the truck bed to the cold storage. Workers pushed the cartons at the truck end and received and stacked them in layers at the cold room end. The equipment worked together to preserve the low temperature and the integrity of the goods, avoiding repeated handling and stacking disturbances and keeping the receiving pace smooth and efficient.

Rubber-Coated Roller Fruit Conveying Line

After the products come out of the production line, they are carried along the ground to the warehouse by a Multi-V Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor (Multi-V Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor). Operators monitor the node, adjust forward and reverse rotation, and keep the cartons stable to ensure smooth handoff between work stages while accommodating the soft characteristics of the cartons.

Multi-Wedge-Belt Powered Rubber-Coated Roller Line Handoff

The cargo flow between two belt conveyors in a logistics warehouse was interrupted. A Multi-V Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor (Multi-V Belt Powered Rubber-Covered Roller Conveyor) was used on site as a temporary connection. After cleaning, adjusting the legs, and running a no-load test, the conveying operation was continuously monitored, the cargo flow was restored, and flexibility for removal was preserved.
