Scenario and requirements.
A hardware factory warehouse needs to receive box shipments transported in trucks. The arrival operation takes place between the truck area (including 9.6-meter trucks) and the warehouse receiving point: after unloading, the goods must also be connected to the warehouse receiving and storage handling.
The goal is to reduce workers' back-and-forth walking and turn the 'truck-side unloading' and 'warehouse storage handling' into a continuous passage.

How the solution connects.
The site uses a skate wheel conveyor to establish a direct conveying path between the truck area and the warehouse.

Boxed goods move from the truck edge onto the conveyor and travel into the warehouse receiving point, connecting the unloading and warehouse receiving points and reducing intermediate handling.

Operation flow and human coordination.
- Truck area: workers place boxed goods from the truck edge onto the skate wheel conveyor.
- Conveying process: goods travel along the skate wheel conveyor into the warehouse operation area.
- Warehouse end: receive the goods and complete subsequent storage handling.
The focus of human coordination shifts from 'back-and-forth manual handling' to the collaboration between 'truck-edge loading' and 'warehouse-end reception.'.
Changes after implementation.
After deploying the skate wheel conveyor, worker back-and-forth movement decreases, and the connection between unloading and storage becomes smoother; overall operation efficiency improves (specific figures not provided).
